ABOUT

BLAKELY DICKEY

Fashion Designer with over ten years of experience in design and collection development for contemporary and luxury women’s Ready-To-Wear brands with specialized training in knits, soft wovens, denim, leather, evening wear, and bridal.

Blakely has gained an in-depth knowledge of the collection development process, garment construction and fit, consumer buying trends, branding, trend forecasting, project management, team building, overseas and domestic production, and backstage production for fashion shows, shoots, and presentations.

In 2012, Blakely was a design intern for tailored suits and soft dresses at Ralph Lauren’s Blue Label. From 2014 to 2017, Blakely was the Assistant Designer for Marchesa’s Runway, Bridal, and Special Client Custom Projects. From 2017 to 2021 she created elevated day wear for Alice + Olivia as their Soft Wovens Designer. From 2021 to 2023, Blakely was the Head Designer for the emerging brand Aliétte. Collections are currently being sold at Bergdorfs, Moda Operandi, Neiman Marcus, Saks, Shopbop, and Rent the Runway.
